Crash At South Jersey Intersection Sends Two Men To Hospital, Police Say

Two men were hospitalized when a car and an SUV crashed in Medford, authorities said.

Emergency crews responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 70 and Medford-Mt. Holly Road (Burlington County Route 541) at around 8:24 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Investigators said a black 2025 Honda Civic was traveling east on Route 70 and a black 2014 Land Rover was heading west on Route 70. The Honda tried to turn left onto Route 541 when the car crashed with the SUV in the intersection.

The 31-year-old Voorhees man who drove the Honda broke his nose and suffered an injury to his stomach. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.

The 41-year-old Medford man who drove the Land Rover suffered cuts to his right leg and scrapes to his arms. He was brought to Virtua Voorhees Hospital.

The crash remained under investigation.
